Nothing stretches the creative noggin more than being given a unique word every day for a month, which you must then go out to photograph before illustrating over. This was my thinking when deciding to participate in Instagram’s #makeartmonthly challenge, with the above images providing a glimpse of some of the days which yielded better results than others.
As well as providing a great opportunity to rekindle my love of both photography and exploring Brighton, #makeartmonthly enabled me to break a few creative shackles and work in varying styles, which is always bloody nice.
